Really sucks saying this, but unless the Sabres go on the Ultimate run over the next 3 or so months it's gonna be tough to make the playoffs. Would like to see Rosen given a fair shot, Olofsson isn't the future of this team. Would like to see if Rosen can be. Sabres really screwed themselves this first Qaurter, unfortunately it might already be time to see a bit of the future.

The problem or hurdles are the Metro, where it's not the expected Rangers, Hurricanes and Devils, along with the Red Wings performance so far.

Have to hope the likes of the Flyers and Islanders fall off, and the Red Wings slow down, unless you believe one or both of the Leafs and Lightning will continue to be mediocre or flounder.

Probably 3 decent moves could have really changed this season IMO
1) Top 4RD
2) Top 9 winger with some snarl that can play
3) Better Leadership- They didn't need to bring them both back.
