the good news is we can be dead last in the east at the end of the day and then focus on the sharks and hawks

Sure, if anyone actually watches them that much.

Takes some time to adjust to the NHL. At some point, they have to give these kids a decent opportunity and some time. Rosen is kind of getting it, but he'll probably play 6 minutes on a line that likely gets physically dominated by Boston. Nice that Benson and Johnson are getting it. Would like to see Kulich and Rosen break in before the end of the season.

yes, the team very much watches them that much. And so do a lot of fans.

Of course the team does. How much do you trust their judgement on players atm?

Ample opportunity will be provided to guys like Kulich and eventually Savoie and Ostlund.

if they had the ability to impact the game like Zach Benson, they'd have started the season here, and at the very least, remained after a call up.

They stuck with Rosen when they could have just said (frank) it, call up Biro and Rousek. They stuck with Benson when they could have, I don't know, traded a 2028 conditional 7th round pick for Kyle Criscuolo.

I trust my eyes, and what I see out of Kulich and Rosen is reflected by who's here and who isn't.

And no, I don't trust the organization as a whole, but I believe this specific decision is the right one.

Andrew Raycroft, who won the rookie of the year for the Boston Bruins 20 years ago, credited his time in the AHL when thinking about why he was ready to have that type of a season.

“The AHL allows you to struggle and figure a way out of your struggle without extremely high expectations,” Raycroft said. “That’s the hardest thing in pro hockey. Devon Levi hasn’t struggled very much in his life. He’s going to struggle. There’s no way around it. Connor Bedard is going to struggle. All of these guys struggle. What the minors do is allow you to figure out how you get out of that. It allows you to figure it out in a place where no one is really worried about it if you are struggling. In the NHL, every game, every two points counts. There’s no time to get better at that.”

Good athletic article today about the 5 teams in the east that are in full panic mode.
In the Buffalo one it mentions “is Buffalo sure Granato is the right coach for this team”

why do you think savoie was never given a chance for this season?

is it because they did not need him?

odds robinson plays over rosen?

and what does that say about rosen?

- homiedclown

Shouldn’t say anything negative about Rosen. It should fall directly on the morons making up the lineup. Rosen getting less than 10 minutes a game to try and prove himself, Kulich didn’t receive any chance of being successful, but we continue to overplay KO, Jost, ZG when he’s healthy. Now we trade for another, overpaid 4th line plug. This reflects solely on KA and his reluctance to do something substantial to help this sinking ship

they are today, until they're not.

Cozens complaining about being soft.

Clifton complaining about the lack of structure.

I'm ready to edit the "chuckin' wood" gif and just write "coaching" on every log thrown into the creek.

That's why I love watching and going to Rochester games. High level hockey that's just fun. It doesn't have the 'end of the world' pressure if something doesn't go right.

This team is the same with a Connor McDavid trade for a conditional 7th round pick.

You don't change the philosophy or the coaching, we will remain here.

Terrible, starting with resigning all of girgs, jost and okposo. Continues with the 2 splash free agent defenseman.

Although I’m a play the vets guy myself , good vets would be nice to root for.

The village idiot wanted Corey Perry , see how that worked out

The interesting thing about Savoie is when he went to Rochester for the playoffs last year, he was way out of his element, Donny.

He acclimated this year. Same thing happened when he was brought up here.

If he needs more time, he needs more time. Unfortunately the time he needs is professional and not junior. Him getting playoff experience (actually playing) this coming season will be great.

Boss you tried to ban people who questioned the phenom. You had a summer of absolute bat sh*t plans that required clinically insane justifications.

Perry would be a great value add to this team, still. You need to get better at creative banter or just stick to being the perky townie who proudly throws his hard earned money at failing sports teams.
