Kevyn missed a lot this off-season, yes he didn't go after anything big in FA, but this past off-season would have actually been the perfect offseason to really put some meat into the bottom 6, even bottom 3. They could have rebuilt there whole bottom of there Roster with the some pieces that were available, and that they just don't have in the Organization.

Well unfortunately they won't have Kane to boost Ticket Sales. Guess they will actually just have to try and play good Hockey for more than a game here or a period there.

I mentioned this before and I'm probably in a minority, but I'd still trade a retained Olofsson for a retained Blake Coleman. I think he gives you some real juice in the bottom 6.

Acquiring the core via FA is a bad idea, FA is where you sign your support players...which both teams failed to do.
