Samuelsson will be a game-time decision, per Granato. Jokiharju will be back in.

Nothing as of yet but Adams and CO have met with him about 5-6 times this season alone, more then any other teams. I still have my doubts to be honest.

He should be on the 3rd pair and see if they can get him Healthy and monitor his minutes. Can't handle 23min a night it seems without getting injured at some point. We are a better team when he plays, you can always adjust his playing time but ge should be playing 3rd pair.

This was a failure that began in January and continues to compound. It started as, just tweak the roster a bit last deadline to organizational failure before Christmas.

The path the Sabres are on will lead to a 4th rebuild and 13th year in a row of failing to make the playoffs, which will only grow the problems in Buffalo.

I don't know about all that. They require more than a tweek, but far less than a rebuild.

Top 6 from among Skinner Tage Tuch Benson Mitts Cozens Savoie Kulich Quinn should be just fine
L3 from among Mitts Cozens Peterka Kulich Rosen Savoie could be formidable
L4 with Greenway Rousek is a start.

That is 14 F players for 12 spots...leaving 3 - 4 players to be used to acquire decent tweeks in the F group.

On D
A top 4 from among Dahlin Power Johnson and one of Joker or Samuelsson seems reasonable. If not, take one of Sammy & Joker and add to it to make it so.
The 3rd Pair can be had in FA and may include Cliffy.

G is tougher for sure as 3/4 of the league is looking for that clear cut #1...yet then again the last two (2) SC winners found enough from 1B's or so. I think the point there is to invest properly in the D to lower the dependency in a top 6-7 G.

So, TBH, it feels like:
1 maybe 2 F's
1 top 4 Dman
1 3rd Pair Dman
1 G

That isn't insurmountable by any means.

The real issue IMO is finding the right coach.
