Last elite athlete in Buffalo to have body language like Allen was Eichel...it's very obvious there is a disconnect
- Theguywiththething

Really started noticing it after the Bengals game where Hamlin got hurt. The clamps really came down.

He seems to be figuring out how to find the open spot.

The best thing to happen to the Bills was Knox getting hurt, because it forced Allen to realize Kincaid exists.

I'm not going to absolve Dorsey of anything, but there were times earlier in the year where Kincaid was open and Allen just didn't go to him. It also falls on the quarterback here.

It did, but sometimes the defense makes a great play. It happens.

one bright spot i was thinking about is dam, Joseph is a bad ass. Whats it matter if they miss the playoffs. Sure feels like 13 seconds was our pinnacle. Really hurts today.

Point of the post is to identify that two guys that this board wanted are poopting all over themselves, and the reason they were so cheap is because orgs forecasted this level of play.

Definitely nothing to do with Clifton, who I hope gives us more as time goes on here.

I am guilty of wanting to take a shot at Tatar.

- TheSabresTaco

Highly doubt Colorado forecasted Tatar being a healthy scratch. Everything hes done in his career suggests this is an anomaly and perhaps an adjustment period. He wanted to go to a contender and surely took less due to the cap problems most teams are dealing with.

If he was asking for 1.5 from us and we didn't sign him its even more foolish, except im guessing adams never called because he resigned his boys before free agency even started

There's a lot of talk both locally and nationally about the Bills just "calling plays" versus "calling a game". I can't speak to that but they're definitely not letting their players do what they do best, and that's a disaster.

The constant HB draw/sweep from the shotgun is baffling.

James Cook is not good. The line is worse at run blocking. it doesn't matter what formation you run out of. Appartently they want to run more though.

Well his contract price reflects his utility. Teams were unwilling to create that amount of space for him.

And signing Jost, Girgensons and Okposo to play a different role than Tatar is not indicative of not leaving enough space for him. They simply didn't want him/he didn't want us. Definitely no need to dwell on the topic, it's just kind of funny to revisit these "we need this guy" conversations.

Better yet, we spent years demanding the Sabres pick up this or that guy from the (frank)ing waiver wire. So at least we're past that.

Dorsey sucks and the bills will never win anything with McDermott

Allen is 28. How many years are they going to regress before management does something about it

There's still a lot of talent on this team. They need to get there offense straightened out and help there Defense a bit. Let Joe Brady call a game and take the Shackles of Josh.
And Joseph is a beast, played well for coming off the street.

I'm listening to Marino's podcast right now. They absolutely have to beat Denver, New England and the Jets, no questions asked. Then they need to figure out a way to go 2-3 against Philadelphia, Dallas, Kansas City, the Chargers and Miami. That gets you to 10 wins, and even that's questionable because you already have 4 conference losses.

Are we Phillip Rivers era Chargers when it comes to Josh? Is McDerp Norv Turner?

Is this how they felt? Constant edging with no blown load? This feeling sucks.

Jost has been playing up and down the lineup as well as scratched. Gets paid more than Tatar

No need to dwell on the fact that the gm did nothing to change the complexion of the forward group tho right

Don't move the goalposts on my topic. This is simply about Tatar being scratched a dozen games into the season. Nothing more, nothing less.

You want to chat about the GM not forcasting the almost expected degradation of okposo and the absolute nose dive from krebs, that's fine.

Since the season started I've been a proponent of looking outside the org for some one or two year contracts to provide stronger play on the fourth line.

Nick Wright said this about them either early in the year or in the preseason. I hate with every fiber of my being the fact that he might be right.
