Someone like kulich plays his way into the lineup and makes it impossible to pull him.

KA probably likes Krebs , but he also likes kulich and Rosen too

It seems like Adams likes everyone.

All I have to go by is the coach, with his lineup and ice time decisions.

I think you're almost assuredly going to have at least 2 of the 4 (Kulich, Rosen, Savoie, Benson) pushing for NHL ice time for the start of next season.

I think there's a strong chance it will be 3 of the 4 above, and a likely chance it will be all 4.

I have no idea where the roster space is going to come from, especially after they extend Casey.

Easy no. Pass.

Disagree.
I love the prospect of Savoie for theSabres longterm, but I would do this for sure.
Getting a #1RhD for very cheap would make for one of the best D's in the league.
While the assets given up by the Sabres is stiff, the Sabres can afford it and not blink nor think twice.

A top RhD is their biggest need, IMO and adding a player like him provides excellent relief should Dahlin go down, or Power for that matter.
Joker has improved his play, potentially as a direct result of having his minutes reduced, down ~4:00 YoY, although the past 4 or 5 games they have been increased. The upgrade from him to Andersson more than offsets that.

Jost is a better 4C. LOG was good enough with Krebs last year. It's not right now.

When you find a 3rd line without them, that's the competition.

Dahlin - Andersson, Power - Jokiharju (continue with controlled minutes), Samuelsson - Ryan Johnson, sure has a nice look to it.

Is Krebs even a Center long term, or short term...?

No clue. Disappointing enough that it's time to reassess.

It does, but in the case of the trade, Joker is part of the trade return for Calgary.

I'd be happy with
Power - Dahlin
Sammy - Anderson
Johnson - Clifton

Yeah, I agree

I also like Krebs, but he doesn’t really have a niche on this team

The trade with eichel is probably the only reason Krebs is still in the lineup

I’m not sure how they handle this situation, maybe he gets traded “ for a new opportunity “

>>> Sabres team leaders in GAR so far this year tracks with my eye test. Jokiharju is there by virtue of playing so much with Power so I don’t think he individually is adding that much value but he’s not holding Power back

This pretty much sums up the Krebs talk

Very disappointing and his playing time is being reassessed.

I’m not sure if biro or rousek is an upgrade that gets Krebs bumped to the scratch zone

Sending him to Rochester isn’t vibey imo

What degree of tough love is allowed and endorsed by the coach and GM?

Krebs is already getting his ice time severely slashed.

Is a trip to the press box acceptable?

How about a demotion to the AHL?

Again, I think you’re spot on 39

I think the ahl demotion may hurt some vibes and feelings. Just doesn’t seem like the move the Sabres make, although it’s the move they probably should make.

When Quinn comes back, gotta think he’s watching games from above imo

How long before kulich gets a looksee?

As long as VO is here and they don't have a 3rd line, feels like they will just continue the shuffle.

Unfortunately, next season for Kulich or Rosen.

Savoie is the next batter up.

Bold strategy playing 3 lines until Quinn and P. Kane arrive.

You really think that? I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see one this month. The idea of holding them both back this year is gross.

The Kane part is bold, but Donnie loves benching his 3rd line in close games.

Minimal games for either one, and definitely not more than 9 for either one.

He benched them after the first period last night.

That was extreme, even for him.
