I do wonder if these last two games are meaningful in terms of deciding whether to carry 2 goalies versus 3, and who those two are.

Me too. Adams seemed to speak glowingly of Levi and UPL last year, so figured he was ready to roll the dice. Now I'm not so sure either. You know what I think, but I am not surprised given EC finally having a competent start.

Talking about preseason. Has he done anything to stand out yet? Over Biro?

Keep in mind his 2 year contract has a 2 way pay scale for the first year. It would be a pleasant surprise if he was a full timer here. It's expected next season.

That will be the 2nd year of their window opened, if Adams skips steps when going up the stairs they should be in the eastern conference finals next year with a fixed roster.

Not really, actually made it easy on himself this year with who he brought back. Biro has made it a little uneasy.

That's what I would do, but it's basically a tryout until Quinn comes back. They can dance around the issue until then.

At the end of the day any kids not making the team does give the consolation prize that the ELCs push a year. Glass half full observation.

I think it'll be a mixed bag based on what happened last year when Clifton had to play top line. Perhaps coach/system/partner improves/insulates his play and mistakes or weaknesses. Definitely interesting.

It's been updated to being a good thing, Adams controls the contracts of players who cant beat the older guys out.
