They either perform or they don't vs NHL level comp. Patrick Laine shooting the puck last night vs next week is not going to change.

IMO he isn’t. You are taught to move out and cut down the angle. I got that drilled into my head at every camp I went too. Yeah he is bigger so he doesn’t need to be as far out but he is still too close.
