Why is it saying the Oakland Seals in the URL when I try to look up NHL Team Stats.... Arizona to Oakland?

As much as I like Quinn and JJ they aren't locked for top 6 spots.

JJ looks like hes gunna have that Cozens break-out year. We all want that.

Quinn could never be the same. FFS I got the guys name on the back of my Goat-head. Hopefully his recovery is damn near perfect.

Touche on Quinn, agreed on JJ but the point is there is a very low chance those players are moved as they have been brought up like core players.

A significant amount of forwards and defensemen are considered the core here, moving any of them would surprise us all.

The its just a 4th line replacement and its only 1 year excuses are what losing teams use to justify failing at maximizing each position. With the amount of money spent on players that will be used as depth this season by Adams, it was an overpayment and safe, not what was needed.

To me that indicates that his team fails to properly assess those positions.

Cause you guys have no one actually worth the argument.

Tbh, I've looked through the UFA tracker already. I don't see a single player that doesn't fall in one of these piles:

1) Orlov type that was signing for a contender and wasn't coming here (very few and far between but there are about 3)
2) Not an upgrade
3) 4th line players - Nosek comes to mind, his high on a year is 18pts...meaning he is not a big upgrade to any NHL team

Go ahead and start from the day that GMKA signed on, that's when it was his ship to steer. And I have about 50-60 years if I play my cards right lol.

I am waiting to hear a single name, a single player, that is a big upgrade. Closest I saw was Duchene by 36, and he signed a cheap deal to go to the Stars and win a cup. Again, if that's the best we can come up with...we're reaching.

Yes a guy with a 56% Career Face off percentage and is good on the PK isn't a upgrade to what we have on are 4th line for a million dollars.

Well isn't Quinn hurt ?

No, I liked Clifton and think he was one of the best options available. I said I didn't like the Okposo signing, that ship should've sailed, but am ultimately saying...based on what happened across the league...that not a lot of movement happened, so a lack of deals isn't something I hold against GMKA.

I'm just asking what justification you have for saying he did nothing and is too scared to make a deal. At least from what I saw there have been little to no deals made that I wish he had...so that's a stretch for me. Having assets doesn't mean that a good deal is available.

Over the past 2 years, we have heard rumblings from various sources that KA is at least in on some moves, while others seemed to have finalized then untangled at the last minute (Murray, Chicken-little, Gibson come to mind).
This offseason, I haven't heard the list (maybe Pesce) yet.
It seems to me that KA has a hard time closing the deal on these moves...he has difficulty selling the future to a few key guys that could have a positive impact.
There's enough smoke to worry if there is a fire burning.
