At the draft ….. 1st round pick value wise. The tackles were gone and jack Campbell. The linebacker the lions reached on were gone already.

So I don’t think reaching would’ve been smart.

Yeah the next guy up was Cody Mauch at pick 48. Value for an RT was not there in RD1. A guy like Torrence was excellent value.

Hope they take it seriously in the next couple weeks. They have some good DT's they could use as trade Bait to probably get something that helps your need. Philadelphia and SF always seem to have good extras at those positions.

That Cap space on those 1 YEAR DEALS could have been used a lot more wisely. So YES it can hurt you.
Okposo didn't need to be signed when he was, everyone new it was Buffalo or retire. Same with Girgensons, so what if someone signed him you have Rousek. They weren't going anywhere anyways.
And yes Lyubushkin a FA you signed and didn't work out so you ship him out and replace him with a more expensive ? mark.
And nobody ever considers Bonuses into the Cap, you might want to look into that with regards to Cap Space.

Funny I see people laying out opinions on things they are worried about that could affect both the Bills and Sabres seasons.
For the last 5yrs on here all I have been hearing is Patience, there fillers or there short term deals. When is it time to stop filling your team with those, cause the Sabres keep doing it and pushing the timeline.
