1 year deals don’t back any GMs into a corner cap wise. That’s fake news

The Kyle Okposo deal when 1st signed. I can buy that cap corner argument but not for 1 year deals

As you also learned from Lybuskin. Salary cap space can also be created pretty easily.

Okposo didn't need to be signed when he was, everyone new it was Buffalo or retire. Same with Girgensons, so what if someone signed him you have Rousek. They weren't going anywhere anyways.
And yes Lyubushkin a FA you signed and didn't work out so you ship him out and replace him with a more expensive ? mark.
And nobody ever considers Bonuses into the Cap, you might want to look into that with regards to Cap Space.

Yeah the next guy up was Cody Mauch at pick 48. Value for an RT was not there in RD1. A guy like Torrence was excellent value.

I hope they take MLB and RT seriously next year.

For the life of me I can't extract much positives for him either on ice. Maybe he helps with PK? I don't know.

Clifton I'm high on to be the same guy he was in Boston. In his prime, mobile, does his job, tough to play against, middle to lower pairs. Fine.
