Can Tage actually hit 50 goals?

Vanek wasn’t a power forward, imo. He was a grindy sniper. His defensive game was also underrated.

I always loved Biron, and I never thought Miller should have been a 70 game starter. We keep both goalies, we win in 06-07.

Miller was always insecure and looking over his shoulder and his ego prevented us from winning that year. Especially in an Olympics year - we needed Biron down the stretch.

Although I agree we would be better if we kept Miller. That wasn’t the problem in 06-07. We got outplayed in the playoffs.

If the rest of league prepared their penalty kills like Adams has prepared for the season…yes
- washedup20

If we set up the rest of the team to take some focus off of him he could easily. But instead we have a very questionable 3rd line and an offensive black hole on the 4th.

Our PP got kind of figured out by the end of last season

Which is crazy because Ovechkin has been doing it for almost 20 years now aside from 2010 so idk

Miller was physically fatigued and psychologically shot after those Olympics. Except for game 1 vs. Ottawa, they were all 1-goal games.

Miller always was a complete head-case. He blew it that year in the Olympics and the ECF and he always blamed everyone but himself.

Only him(8) and Stamkos have that sweet spot on demand, it’s a result of an elite overload set up and a hall of famer on the half wall.

The Sabres should use Tage this season as a decoy at first and put the puck on the D or weak side (pending overload or umbrella setup) while planting Greenway in front.

He was a head case. And I never thought he was as great as he got credit for. Granted he was good. But I don’t feel like he was what the media made him out to be.

He always gave up a softie. Crosby owned him

Drew Stafford was a better power forward for the Sabres in a 3-year span than Evander Kane during his time here:

09-12 Stafford: 21.66 g/year, 45.33 points per year

15-18 Kane: 22.66 g/yr, 39 pp year
