I don't think it's any of that. I think they have more faith in their players than we do. Dumping bad players has been challenging for everyone without taking money back and they only do moves when it's convenient for them, and we simply don't have the patience for it.

They'll have to pull the plug on a couple forwards. Going to lose some very good AHL players who likely don't get much more than a cup of coffee in the NHL.

I fully believe the story that KA + staff have never been high on him, but here we are.

He makes no sense as a partner for Levi, which just gets more frustrating after 2 years of hearing how invaluable Anderson's experience and mentorship were.

Agreed, they are gonna have a log jam of talent in Rochester in another year if he isn't willing to dip more than just that pinky toe in the cold water.

My suspicion is they like their guys so much that they barely tried, and were overly content with making fringe moves yet again.

That doesn't really jive with the fact Adams was trying to acquire Chychrun last year but was unwilling to part with multiple 1sts.
