I could never go back to an account where I have to encounter the ads on this site. I'm living the life over here

What's easier or more common?

1) For a bad team to be saved by a good goaltender
2) For a good team to cover for a bad goaltender

- RhinoFan

The answer is 2. Look at Ullmark with the Sabres and Ullmark with the bruins.

Big difference.

The hurricanes are also a good example.

Many other examples of this.

I heard a while ago that him selling both teams is actually on the table.

Has a lot to do with Kim.

But with the new stadium build that can’t happen for at least 4/5 years for the Bills

I wonder if the sabres lease expiring in 2 years plays a part in the decision

seems odd to let go his son in law unless he is cleaning up to sell or the son in law cheated

Move to Hamilton could be possible as that’s when the Copps should be done its renovations.

Balsillie is as close as that's ever going to come. The NHL and Bettman loathe moving a team. I mean, FFS, the Coyotes play in a 4000 seat arena and have no viable option on the table and a move isn't exactly imminent even though it should be. Ain't happening

I’ll say this, if we don’t make the playoffs soon, I could definitely see the Sabres moving.

Arizona should end up in Houston, Ottawa in Quebec City and Buffalo in Hamilton for sure, Pegs.

That Heritage Classic home game was foreshadowing for sure.

That’s because Balsillie wanted to put an expansion team there and Buffalo shut it down.

If it’s Buffalo themselves moving, could be a different story.

There has been whispers of Hamilton potentially getting an NHL team. Why let the Bulldogs move to Branford and spend all of this money to upgrade the arena only for nobody to play there ?

Just connecting dots

Strange there is no mention of goalie as one of the obstacles. Considering the PK was listed as #1 and using a late game shorthanded faceoff as an example of why they need be better at them

The goalie should be your best penalty killer.
Faceoffs dont play goalie

We currently have a rookie and two trash cans for our net minders. Huge question mark

No Faceoffs don't play goalie, but if you win them less chance of a scoring opportunity. Which help your goalie.

Not with who they have at this point, unless Cozens and such have worked on it. That's why Duchene or Nosek would have been decent signings.

Not lying the person. Who told me that said the Sabres have an interested party who absolutely wants the team in Hamilton.

I don’t believe anything happens but that’s what I was told

My source was involved with bringing the Bulldogs to Brantford in the first place and was the one who put the idea in my head, so I can’t take all of the credit.

Wow, Hamilton more than twice the population of Buffalo. Not that bad for me, but would feel like a kick in the nuts if I still lived there. Hamilton is closer than Quebec City so there’s that. I guess the prospect of this years Sabres isn’t as bad as the decimation you’d feel if they moved.

The Sabres aren't leaving Buffalo. Between the doom and gloom of this and the Sabres' roster, how do you guys get out of bed?

If anyone's moving there it's the Coyotes, and then Detroit gets shipped back where they belong.

Still reeks of ass over at PSE

“Taylor Gahagen, still listed a month ago as Pegula Sports and Entertainment's director of corporate development, has quietly been removed from the front office directory. PSE source says he "left to pursue another entrepreneurial opportunity." Gahagen is Jessica Pegula's husband.”

Pretty Easy actually. The Sabres have sucked for so long I am unfortunately used to it. So I come on here and complain and it makes it easy.
