you're sending Jokiharju back, which has subpar but positive value. Conditional 1st or a 2nd + B prospect is a good deal for a top 4 rental.

It lines up, and is probably larger than most top 4 trades in the past 2 seasons.

The question is whether this is a playoffs or bust season.

They'll try, and the objective for them is to take Olofsson out. Once Quinn is back you hope Olofsson plays half the games at most. If they're not ready they're not ready.

One would assume that if Kevo doesn't pick up a forward, he thinks one of these guys can come in here.

I have my doubts that anyone is ready off the bat.

Which is why I disagree with Kevo about signing/trading for a forward with 1 or 2 years left on their contract.
