Kyle definitely wasn't. But Girgensons intended to test the market and found out he wasn't getting more than a 1 year term. So Adams wanted him back as long as he accepted 1 year.

Ottawa is operating on a lot of "IFs". Two injured players coming back with a history of repeat injuries and overpaying a goalie that is mid level doesn't seem like much improvement to me.

If he's a healthy scratch by november and Husso bounces back, they are a threat.
