curious to see what CAR does with their 14 d-men or whatever the number actually is.

They dont have an AHL team, so a move has to be coming.

Only see 8 for the big club. I doubt they trade any until the deadline. If at all.

Pesce to Buffalo for Olofsson (50% retained) Rosen, and a 2024 first.

loan them to other teams, like moulson was loaned to ontario

they already loaned 3 prospects to a finnish league

On Okposo, perhaps.

Girgensons is useless offensively and may not hit much but you can count on two hands the amount of players that are better than him defensively in the entire league. That holds some merit.

- Swedish_Jesus

I want you to know that I read this and am worried now that I am on the cusp of a large stroke. Is there some graph that proves this? I've heard this sentiment before and yet I'm not sure there aren't 3-4 players on every team I would take over him in that roll.

Theyre already carrying 3 goalies so youd likely be waiving and loaning two guys (chatfield and coghlan?) to other AHL teams.

Also thought i read somewhere that post MOU 2020 you can only loan ELC guys but not 100% sure.

I think they need an ownership stake on an AHL team to be able to loan. Or they'll have to loan them to the Wolves, but why would you wanna loan to them now... They'll be the only independent AHL team this year. Doesn't seem ideal.

I guess but again that doesnt solve the immediate problem of being over the roster limit. None of the 9 guys they have are reporting to an ECHL team.

Skinner isn’t very good on the PP, doesn’t mean he isn’t good at even strength.

Same goes for Girgensons, albeit you would hope for improvement with a full season of Levi, Clifton, and E Johnson being brought in with that specific intent of improving that unit

I think that happens a fair bit, no? Seems like the best route for the Canes to go this year.

Seems better than sending them to somewhere you have ZERO say in their development that year.

no clue

I am sure the NHL can make up an emergency rule

posters have told me it's better for signed sabre prospects to be working with overseas leagues and playing with 16 year olds in jr leagues in canada vs working with our paid coaches in rochester

of course those 2 posters are banned now/moved on

How about Girgs hustle down the ice and then getting kicked in the ankles that lead to a EN goal against Pitts early in the Season.

What is this based on?

I mean, where is Bergeron? Where is Barkov? Couturier? Marner is slowly turning into a defensive dynamo. Where are all the good defensive players?

You just named centers and the chart clearly shows "wingers"

You got me there. Marner is a winger though and a Selke finalist...methinks this list needs some massive improvement to be taken seriously.
