At this point, getting traded from Calgary to Buffalo is a lateral move, so a player who spent their career there and has a say, would really have to be sold on the trade IMO.

He is a player the Sabres should be looking to add, the center position past Cozens is still up in the air with only Krebs (gently) knocking on the door.

Backstrom, Tanev and Markstrom mega deal??
1. Would cost a lot in prospects/picks
2. Tanev and Backstrom are on expiring contracts
3. Makrstrom full NMC, Tanev 10 team no trade clause, Backstrom 10 team trade clause

Nemec and Hughes are going to be monsters but the rest are meh IMO, I think we should be able to overcome those two. I'm not too impressed by Holtz at this point. Mukhamdullin is okay, same with Casey, nothing to write home about.

Going to be fun, we should dominate.
