Kapari has upside and hopefully he will get a good chance.
If he’s another non-NHL player like Malananen or AJF I hope we cut the cord quick

That said he has good size and a lot of skill

Fingers crossed

Kupari hasn't developed offensively yet but he shows flashes of skill. He has a motor for sure. Kupari can help the Jets on the 4th line immediately and the PK.

While I'm hopeful Kupari can reach his potential, almost anyone can help the Jets AHL level 4th line... lol

Exactly this, the pedigree is there, Kupari is the wildcard in this deal that could eventually swing it to being a win for the Jets.

Hellebuyck should be the next domino to go. I think the devils or canes could be solid trade partners on that front

Chevy did well and deserves credit. This Jets fan site is more negative than any others regarding this trade.

He got rid of a malcontent for three players coming into their own plus a 2nd round pick. I'm not sure any other GM would have done better.

Many Kings fans disappointed and Oiler fans rejoicing that Vilardi and Iafallo have left their Division.

Well done especially given the circumstances.

Has to feel good for Jets fans. I imagine it's akin to having your gout disappear and getting a new pair of sneakers.

Scheifele or Hellebuyck, yes next to go. But it may not be for a while. We'll see today if anything is cooking I guess.

But "re-sign and trade" best way to go here.

I agree that Devils or Canes maybe best trading partners but I guess never count the Sens or Sabres out.
