Just remembered Maude (including "All in the Family") was a big thing on TV before I was old enough to read and I thought it was strange that someone would name their girl "B. Arthur" not realizing that it was Bea short for Beatrice and that Arthur was her last name (thought she dropped her last name like Cher).
