You’ve subtlety bashed Nash, congrats and welcome to the club

Not a chance. Can't wait for Nash to re-sign with the Rangers after saying he is thinking things over.

If we stop worrying about picks and prospects then in 7-10 years we are right back into another rebuild.
- Tonybere

Or you end like Detorit where you just limp long into the first round only to beaten in 5 games. Thus forcing the rebuild upon you all while having bad contracts on the books.

The point I think people like Junuka don’t get is, at some point they will get players. Players WILL ALWAYS wanna come to NYC and MSG to play hockey.

“Players will come Ray... players will most definitely come!”

It’s not like it’s Karlsson or bust, it’s Kucherov or Panarin, or bust

It's Jack Hughes and Alexis Lafrenière, or bust.

So he'll score a total of like 63 goals. Cannot wait.

Let’s say we get Callahan and Raddysh for a 3rd. Would you try and take Ryan also? Or is that too much with both of them

1-2-3 yrs is the most they should go. Ryan has way to long to go imo.

With all these discussions about Tampa and Ottawa doing a deal, there is still a belief that Dallas has a chance for Erik Karlsson.

if we get Kucherov we are looking at our very first 11 million a year player and all of sudden all this lovely cap space is gone

Someone tell me how is a rebuild is taking to long if it only started 6 months ago?
Ok if you wanna give me the Stepan trade its 18 months ago. But regardless, have some patience for (frank)s sake Jesus

- Slimtj100

Patience!!!??? Not in a NY market

Im w/ you Mr. Slim.

ANY moves made this off season have to bring in picks/prospects. Callahan is a means to an end, but after he rehabs, he is good as any vet (IF he stays healthy) available to play 4th line and PK and offer some experience and leadership. His contract is for two more seasons and will expire right about the time we should see some better FA signings.

Again, after this season the rebuild might be sped up once the prospects/picks NYR has acquired these past 2 years show what they can do. Then and only then can Gorton and Co. make logical decisions on the future...
