I didn't watch a lot of it but I listen to a ton of Ottawa sports radio as I'm in my car most days. They gave most of the credit to Karlsson.

MiB does have a slightly odd view of the world. Not everything has to do with the Leafs... just like Tavares didn't simply become crap because he signed with the Leafs.

it goes two ways.

another example of stupidity... is the constant comparisons of Matthews and Laine... everyone saying how can the Leafs possibly sign Matthews now after paying Tavares 11$Mper... "how will the Leafs fit everyone under the cap"... and then in the same sentence or paragraph saying the Laine is better than Matthews and he'll sign a team friendly CAP contract with WInnipge... but Matthews will still get 12+.

so while not everything revolves around the Leafs, there does seem to be a pretty wide swath of other fans who react EVERY time the Leafs do something.... I personally don't care what the Habs or Sens or Canucks do.... and I don't dwell on what they do.

the same cannot be said about other fan bases - who seem obsessed with the Leafs.
