Agree. I am leary of Karlsson at this point - with that ankle. He's not the same player he was. And he is seeking a king's ransom. Yeah, it does worry me. It also worries me if he ends up on another Eastern team.

Marner is a Winger, generally they're cheaper than Centers (other than Kane I guess). If Marner has a solid season and puts up 80-90 points I'd still put him in the 8 million range. Maybe a tad higher. Def not 10 million. Also Marner seems like the type of kid not to get greedy when it comes to money. And he already has a few endorsements.
