Suppose it is Kucherov that would mean a monster deal...just saying, if Karlsson goes, Ottawa needs to get a player or players back that fans will like. And Zibanejad was a fan favorite when he was there, suppose he’s a piece in this whole thing for Ottawa. Obviously it would be more then him, not saying JUST him...don’t all freak at me haha. TB really has to be worried about some sort of offersheet at some point for Kucherov. Also Zucc going to Tampa in this wouldn’t be outlandish to think

I don’t think that gives any insight to whether or not the rangers are involved. No ones going to care about the rangers assisting a salary dump so no ones going to report on that part of the deal (and kuch is not coming here)

I like you but sometimes I feel like you intentionally miss my point . I’m saying that just because there was no mention of the rangers doesn’t make me think that they’re not involved anymore. They’re just an afterthought in the deal as far as outsiders are concerned because all they’d be doing is facilitating a salary dump

If taking 2 years of a bad contract when my team is rebuilding to get extra pieces for that rebuild, I’m doing it. The only team I don’t think anyone should help is the Penguins.

That is a pretty good point but it also tells me that a 3rd team must get their doors blown off with some sort of return. You do wonder tho, would a diff GM be willing to work Gorton if he’s helping TB become more of a powerhouse
