Komarov is fine and everything but signing him for $3M per over 4 years was insanely stupid. I believe Kuhnhackl is on a two-way and Filppula is only a 1 year deal. The Komarov and Hickey contracts are terrible.

Kunhackl is an insignificant signing at his price. Hickey? I mean, you know more about him than I do, but $2.5M for what I view as an above average third pairing dman in this cap doesn't seem so bad.

Komarov? Is that really TERRIBLE? $3M for a guy who can put around 20/30 points, play a game that drives teams nuts and can play most forward positions? Maybe a slight overpayment, but I wouldn't call it terrible.

That Komarov deal alone isn't god-awful, but it's really bad alongside the Clutterbuck/Cizikas/Ladd deals.

I can't remember who tweeted it, but the Isles have something like $20M+ tied up in Clutterbuck/Cizikas/Ladd/Komorov/Filppula. That's 1/4 of the cap which is insane.

I hope it makes them, uhh....hard to play against....or....something....
