We don't want that deal. $10.5M is too much for D, plus we're giving up far too much.

Leafs could actually use a guy like spurgeon over dumba. Underrated rhd who is strong on both ends. Hes not big, but you'd never be unhappy with him on your team.

I could see the Ducks and Toronto doing a deal. Brandon Montour probably available if Nylander the return. Not sure what the complimentary pieces would be. Toronto needs D, Ducks need a C, especially if Kesler unable to play.

Lets hope EK is right for once. He says Faulk is about to be traded to the Islanders.

Since faulk is a elite top 10 scoring defensemen according to you at roughly 35 points a season in the past 4 season.. I will say averaging over 15 goals is impressive but overall.. Gardiner at 52 points this past season make him a elite top 5 defenseman? Trying to understand the schematics of this.. in the eyes of a hurricanes fan... atleast

I said he's top 10 in goals over the last 5 years... which he is. He's 9th.

Now does he suck in his own end? Hell yeah he does. But that doesn't take away from him being a solid PP option.
