Sure could, what do you want for him?
- Stripes77

Hard to tell.

Honestly not sure there's a fit... need a LHD and a winger to replace him with.

Blues 1st rounder
- sbroads24

Dont we want to be trading the SJS 1st before the Blues 1st?

Blues is top 10 protected (so 11 this year would be ours)

Sharks make the playoffs this year (it is almost, how could they not make it) and we get it, so it would be 20+.

If either condition is met (pick IS top 10 for Blues or Sharks miss playoffs) it becomes 2020 1st regardless.

Who knows at this point, but maybe we do the Murray, "whichever is later in round 1" trade?

McCabe, Nylander and the Blues first is the most you'd get from us at this point

Like you said I am not sure there is a fit

So this goes for Sabres fans too. Dont expect a prospect that is ready now for a top 6 role, otherwise why would team B make that trade?

Sabres wanted Thomas who was maybe top 6 Center ready this year on an ELC. Why would they trade that guy who is a top 6 center with higher salary? Does not make sense.

Flip Nylander for Berglund and that probably gets it done at this point.

What are the chances Skinner waives to come to Buffalo?

How did he even get a full NMC at his age.

No idea.

He's apparently given them a list of 5 teams he'd be willing to go to, but it's a hard sell.

Honestly not sure he even gets traded at all.

I think he would waive, an owner who will spend money, a team that looks like it is headed in the right direction and he would play with Eichel

Sold sold sold!

Nylander still holds value and has a chance at coming out of his shell.

I am so happy you don't run this team.

It would constantly be last with zero assets, and a bunch of guys who skate in a straight line very fast and have no finish.

Edit - And you would tank every year.

- ImThatGuy

No my team would have Talent and win cups

All I want to do is tank? Newsflash That’s only way to get Talent how do you think we got Jack Eichel exactly ? Casey ? Thanks for coming

Maybe, but there's a brand new owner in Raleigh too, and he's been on a "team on the upswing" for 8 years now.

He's going cup chasing, I think.

Probably looking at $7, but I don't think he's looking for a long term deal. Pretty sure he'll be looking more for a chance to play in the playoffs than anything.

I don't think we're hearing any Buffalo rumors because he wouldn't waive.
