See we disagree . He would be a third liner on a good team . I think he is overpaid by a million and a year too long on his contract . He averages 16 goals a year 30 pts. Not really Sedin like numbers are they?

No. But its out of our control. To me, bo isnt a 1st line center either. But i won't gripe on bos cap hit. Sven is a capable 2nd line player, but is more so a 3rd line winger, ill agree to that. Brock, in his one season, is the only 1st line (true 1st line) player i think we have, and time will tell on EP. But if sven pops in 20 goals over 82, which i think he can, i wont gripe over 3.35.

I am sure if Beagle is playing with Gaunce he will not score 15 if he is playing with EP then 12-15 maybe . We need to wait and see how it plays out

Rosters are fluid & value & needs can be looked at in different ways.
Sven is in for competition more so with prospects to take his job.
He is expendable if he doesn’t produce & can fall down the line-up

Up until the last 5 years, i think the CHL was the main route to go to the NHL. Demko was still finishing his schooling after turning pro while playing in Utica. I think they must somewhat care about their education if they choose the college route.

Easily replaced now or later.

As for kids going the college route its a means to the NHL & a degree is only a backup plan Nothing is stopping them finishing at any later date. Idk why i need to explain this lol Take the opportunity to make millions is a no brainer or too stupid to see that & school would hardly matter in that case.

Same here but we have the prospects & expect them to be worthy

With JV Goldy Lind Dahlen & some others i expect a push from them & BB & EP are the only 2 of 4 top 6 wingers a lock to remain so. Sven cannot rest & has to prove me & everyone else otherwise.
