stupid comment by dan. there is a lot more top 6 minutes this year. these signings are bottom 6. there is a lot of bodies tho. something has to give. but guys like sven especially, are gonna get a lot more minutes. pp and even strength.

I understand the disappointment but we have to be realistic. We are already a young team and we are probably going to add to that by bringing in Pettersson and Hughes.

I totally approve of limiting the amount of rookies and making Utica and developing a priority. I think Hughes or OJ could make the team, but everyone needs to earn it and that needs to be the message.

I really like Marner, I would love Benning to pursue him. I hope Toronto just sh!ts the bed this year and next, and next. I hope they overpay Matthews by millions. I hope they never pick up defense or a real goalie. I hope they ruin Tavares career.

I don't think they have a goalie issue. Andersson had a vezina calibre year, probably the best season out of all the players on that team. D needs two addition IMO, but they could trade Kapanen and/or Kadri/picks and still be an unreal team. I hate them.

That's fair. I watched a fair bit of TO games, the types of shots and the amount they give up is just insane. To have that high of a save percentage when you're facing 10-15% more shots per game than any other goalie is impressive.

Only player I'd take off the Leafs is Kadri and I'd still hate the guy.

Yeah not two firsts . I would offer Nylander 8 just to drive up the cap hit on TO. Islanders have plenty of young prospects they can afford to give it up plus they can trade to replace those picks
