I was just telling my wife that there have been some phenomenal games this world cup. The Japan/Belgium game started off slow and we thought it was going to be a blowout. We actually felt sorry for Japan then boom, up 2-0 and the rest is history

Old timers remember the lunchpail era Canucks . We might have v2.0 now. Lose a lot butthe team leaves it all on the ice. Only thing now is we dont have a goalie who can really steal some games on a regular basis.

He's a better defender than EG was last year. That's just a statistical fact on several metrics, it's not very close. Just because EG is a big and knocks guys around doesn't mean he's not getting scored on.

I want to like him, but he seems to be that guy at drop in that ices the puck every time he gets it without lifting his head up and looking around.
