We'll have a (frank) load of cap room when we run them all out of town. Matthews will be back in Zona. Nylander in Calgary and JT in Portugal. We'll have a bout 40 mil in cap room and no good players

For sure... I wasn't talking about drafting though. Just acquiring through trade or free agency. It's really a league wide issue, good centers are hard to come by, and usually very expensive.

I agree and they had a good draft. I'm just skeptical Matthews and/or Marner would sign their offer sheet next summer with the Islanders and wait around to see if there's a building/goalie in place.

Arizona is much more likely and probably the odds on favourite to land Matthews. Marner may stay with them because it's his home team?
