82 games with the worst right side in the entire league by FAR
- manvanfan

This is a development year, who cares really.

Sutter as a top six player makes the team barely watchable. He's just so bad offensively he sucks the life out of any offence his wingers may have. He's a player that needs others around him to make him better offensively, not the other way around.

I like the Roussel signing, he's only 29 in November and he'll make the team harder to compete against.

Not to mention have spent numerous picks on both hamonic and hamilton.
- Codes1087

They have multiple players who they may have to use on ELC soon in Andersson, valimaki, foo, mangiapne, dube,

Hamilton cost just a first as they still picked twice in the second round that year after trading 2 seconds

Hamonic was too many tho I’ll agree there

Blues actually have two legit centres now, they'll be better next year. Sabres will be the Sabres, kinda like the Canucks.

Not all teams can just get lucky and win a lotto the first time ....they have their stud D man now with lots of good forwards and prosoevts and picks

The goal was to be "less soft" Waiving Schaller for Pettersson is literally the opposite. Would need to trade a soft forward. Baertschi, Granlund, Goldy, Leipsic.

I'd get rid of Goldy. Youngest, still on a cheap contract. Might be worth the most.

Package Goldy and Hutton for something.

Goody is also waiver eligible, needs to clear waivers to go to Utica

they still haven't recovered from tim murray's hyper-aggressive trades.

that is what set them back, not bad lotto luck.

The Stastny trade hurt them, they'll turn it around in a big way this season I'm guessing.

If they had won the Connor lotto and the leafs didn’t win the Mathews lotto they would be way ahead of the leafs ...regardless of their past GM errors

Would Bozak have signed in STL knowing they were going after ROR?

I think in wants Sutter to be top two center this year so he can pony pettersen up with him. Doesn't matter how awful Sutter is offensively, he just needs to win draws get the puck in EP's hands and go stand in front of the net. Be first man back on the backcheck. Price is too high league wide to attract a top two center , so they will make do with Sutter. Added bonus if he plays the year with pettersen he should have possible career high offensive numbers ... makes him that much more attractive at the deadline

They've gotta build organizational depth again, Murray destroyed that. Eichel and Dhalin are GREAT building blocks though!!

Slow and steady wins the race, I do think they could get a better offensive center than Sutter in the trade market though.
