They’re really banking on someone taking a big step on that RW. I’m looking for a big push from Aberg. I think our 2nd line will be Aberg-Draisaitl-Reider. I don’t even know if Caggiula makes the team. I’m not a fan of his game.

Grabbed 2 outa 3 that I had in my wish list. If they’d scooped Czarnik then I’d be 100% happy.

Also Chiarelli didn’t do anything stupid. That’s a HUGE plus.

I remember at the end of last season Lucic said the league is changing and hes going to have to change with it, possibly lose some weight to be able to keep up. Anyone know if hes keeping to his word or is he still shoving spaghetti down his gullet?

Well they pulled the same media show with Stamkos and tried with Doughty. It's cool you guys got Tavares who's ego has inflated ten fold and I have a feeling you guys will be regretting this deal a couple seasons down the road.

Curious to see which one of Nylander or Marner shakes loose now.

Added some nice depth and didnt over pay. The biggest win of the offseason has to be the trades Chia didn't make.

Problem is the team hasn't improved much if at all. Still rumours of Risto.
Other teams in the Pacific and West have improved on paper. Neal signed in Calgary.
I'm happy Chia hasn't done anything really stupid, but he hasn't done anything to help either.

On paper, it’s not one of the 3 best teams in the pacific at present.

Certainly possible if we get huge steps forward/bounce back from a bunch of players of course. but unlike last summer when only a few people were able to identify the obvious flaws, the vast majority should know this could be another rough season

As currently constructed I’m thinking they’ll be a playoff team, probably wildcard. All depends on which version of Talbot shows up. If he can post at least a .910 then we’ll probably make it.

Too early to call. If SJ lands Skinner? La has added Kovy. Calgary swapped Ferland and Hamilton for Lindholm, Hanifin, Neal, Czarnik and Ryan.
All three finished ahead of us last year and have added pieces. I only see 3 Pacific teams making it. And Vegas lost a couple guys but have added and are still not done.

Agree with the above, but I also don’t think the Oil will be near as bad as last year. Even slight improvements to the special teams, Klefbom, Sekera and Talbot should garner notable results.
