When JvR left, so many people around here down played how good he really was. Not a Flyer anymore, so he's just not that good anyway. If JvR really returns, I'm happy with the signing. I don't get why anyone would want to break up G and Coots or have G switch back from LW. They both had career years playing together.

There are gonna be trades today, too -- maybe some big ones, not just Karlsson (which feels like it's going down before noon)

Think Max Patches gets done today, at a minimum. Skinner, too. I wouldn't be surprised if Edmonton tries to do something sneaky with Lucic -- he has to approve it, but there are gonna be teams who get left at the altar today who are gonna be looking around at where Tavares lands and be like WTF

In my opinion Toronto missed used JvR by keeping him tied to the hip with Tyler Bozak. JvR never saw time with Kadri or Matthews. At least never a long stretch of time. What a waste.
