I think what I am complaining about is that I think certain people on this site just like to argue and be negative, just for the sake of arguing and being negative. And as a reader you get fed up, so I make a post. Not caring at all what people think.
When said people seem to have no ground to stand on in regards to my comment, they then say where did you come from? Characters coming out of the wood work? Kind of sounds like to me, that shouldn't factor into the conversation, right? Has nothing to do with the topic being discussed. Kind of high schoolish, no? - ChuckinKnucks
Do you think calling someone a loser because you don't like what they post is kind of high schoolish? |

I think the heat is getting to some of y’all. I can dig that, it’s so hot I passed on my usual glass of single malt for an ice cold vodka martini.

I don't see how you can take from my comment that they can afford it that says don't worry about the future. - MJL
Maybe you are right. Assuming they don't sign anyone else [shudder] they will have about $10M in cap space going into the season, and they will definitely lose Lehtera's $4.7M between now and next July, so that's $15M to work with. Assuming you let Weal and Laughton walk, along with Elliott or Neuvy, that adds up to almost 26M to sign Provy, Vecchione, Sanheim, Simmons, and maybe Raffll and TK? And save some to sign Patrick and some solution to AMac and Gudas presumably both retiring/leaving in 2020?
If the pipeline doesn't graduate some good, young players, we are screwed. |

Filppula to the Isles. Their fans must be relieved that they were able to quickly find a capable replacement for Tavares.

There was talk of him going there or the Devils. Interesting that the teams most interested in him were teams he played against a lot. Just saying. |

How does Vecchione make the list of players to worry about re-signing at this point?
Do you think the Flyers pipeline of prospects that they have is going to fail to produce some NHL players? What about the 3 defenseman that you claim are ahead of Morin? Morin made the Flyers out of camp last season. |

They can afford one now, they can't and shouldn't go long term with one. Too many kids coming up soon. They could target a vet with 2 years or so remaining on their contract. They have plenty of options and why I said we have to see what happens between now and the start of the season. - FlyerFan16
If they don't overpay for another Dman, that they need more, I agree they can afford a short term rental. Anything to get Laughton off the bench. |

Unless he is traded, Laughton will be a Flyer this upcoming season.

Vecchione was sent down because he didn't have to clear waivers, and the Flyers couldn't send Laughton down without admitting protecting him was a mistake. Vecchione went down, helped the team to a deep playoff run and had better stats than the much more experienced Laughton did in LV the year before exiting in the first round. So assuming players with proven upside get signed if those with none do.
Morin "made the roster" last year only because they thought Ghost might not be able to play. And frankly, all of the other kids needed another year (the year Morin has already had, and then some). |

If he is good enough, of the front office is dumb enough to keep him over a better player, its going to be a long season. |

Well, you still have a love affair with Brayden Schenn, so does that knock you down a few pegs in the HockeyBuzz posting realm? Maybe we are more on an even playing field than you first thought? - ChuckinKnucks

You know what, you are correct. They did come out, and will continue to come out. I come here daily to read this site, because I respect most of the poster's opinions. However, when I open the comments and some of the first posts have to do with the Brayden Schen trade, and how horrible the sixers are for tanking. It gets me a little ticked off.
What do either of those things have to do with JVR? the future dev. camp that is happening right now? or the next moves that the flyers may make?
If you don't want to allow other people's opinions on this site, then so be it. If you want it to be/stay a Good Ole Boys Club, thats fine then stay in your cliques, and maybe take some of MJL advice and don't read my posts.
I feel like I have to pass some sort of test to post to the site, what is up with that?
Have a good one brother! - ChuckinKnucks
Well your first post was you calling me a loser. Had you not done that, I wouldn't have said anything at all. |

Dubas mentioned that they studied other sports free agency before bidding for Tavares. Said they used the Raptors and Masai Ujiri as a resource. “We’d be crazy not to” |

Hexy might be reconsidering I mean if he’s home in New Jersey go to a damn Staples or something. If I was going to sign a contract worth 7m a year I would be knocking on doors to find someone with a printer and fax. Or just drive to Hexy’s office. |
