While I would love to be wrong Philly is not on Tavares' list and I doubt a JVR signing changed that.

I just think we are used to settling on mediocre because that’s what we have been fed for years now but Toronto was supposed to be his destination, and now they are weaker team without jvr, and apparently they only offered him a 1 year max deal, there are only so many teams out there with cap room to sign Tavares, and we are one of them and maybe one of the best teams with the space
