Top six is locked up for the foreseeable future. If Frost transitions to wing at the NHL level like some expect I just don't see where Simmonds fits long term.

I'm pretty confident the Flyers drafted Frost as a center and are expecting him to play center in the NHL. It's not like other moves can't be made in the future to tweak a team. It doesn't make sense to state that a player of Simmonds caliber doesn't fit in long term.

I really would. Schenn never fit in here, which was a disappointment. I thought he looked great his first season. He was like Richards 2.0 to me.... but then he lost that edge. He stopped throwing the body checks and remained too streaky. I was disappointed because I had high hopes for him.
I think frost is the real deal. Even when his line mates went odd to represent their countries frost did well and Carried the play. Imagine is frost made it to the draft this paat season....where would he have been picked?
I am with hexy and am looking towards the future and moving schenn definitely helped the future. We won't know for a few more seasons how that trade plays out but for right now i think hwxy won that trade. Hell.... st louia didnt even make the playoffs so it's not like schenn is a game changer.
I admit it was cool to havw the schenns both here but they both underperformed for me.

The kid has all the tools necessary but hasn't played on the big stage yet. Very raw type of guy. I was go early shocked hextall swung for the fence with this kid but loom at our scouting record. I have faith and trust the scouts.
Farabee is who I should have said and he looks to really lock up the LW spot on line 2 or even 3 since our depth is expanding.
As bill said.... he can make guys around him better and doesn't need superstar talent in order to produce like schenn does.
