He's better than the underlying metrics indicate. He had a down season (as did everyone else on the team), but he still drove possession, won face-offs, etc. etc.

Worth his contract? No, but he's still a top center in this league. Expecting a bounce-back season from him and Saad next year on the top line.

He's finally allegedly getting off his absurd ONNIT fitness plan that he has been on these last couple off-seasons which sank his game.

I generally like JT.... But announce a decision already. I feel like I'm waiting for my wife to finally make a decision when ordering dinner.

I really think you guys should trade him to Buffalo. I think he's too comfortable in Chicago & with 3 Cups already?? New team, new challenge & no one blowing smoke up his arse if you know what I mean.
