We have heard a strong rumor out there today that Jack Eichel is looking to change his number to 9 for the upcoming season. Again, just a rumor for now, but would be quite a sight to see that change given the number’s recent history with the Sabres.

So how did Dahlin look in the 3 on 3, any goals or points?

He looked good had a couple nice plays but you could tell they weren’t going all out and some of his passes the other players clearly did not expect and they were nice set ups

Other notes from 3 on 3 if any one cares, mittlestadt looked great I think he scored 5 goals and had a helper or two

The goalie Shepard played really well until the last game where mittlestadt schooled him and he kinda faltered, I don’t know if he was just an invite but went to the frozen four back to back years, I hope we sign and develop him

Mates Pekar was fun to watch good offensive abilities and got under people’s skin, a tom Wilson type and he almost got into a fight with mittlestadt on a few occasions

Overall entertaining, I also liked the aquin kid from the Q, he potted a few goals and was skating hard throughout

Anyone else go and have fun?
