The Leafs as a franchise have Never been in a better position to entice a local star to come home.
1)Elite management from Top Down, 2)competitive young roster with loads of skill.
3) Farm team just won the Calder cup so there is depth coming.
4) Oh and perfect timing to have 25M in cap space to crush anyone else’s offer if need be.

If J.T doesn’t come home I’ll be shocked.
It’s either he stays loyal to the Islanders or he comes home to the Leafs.

I guess the best part is...as disappointing as it will be if he isn’t a Leaf come July 1st, we are still in great hands with a very bright future.
