I think he signs back in New York or goes to San Jose.

I've yet to see a legitimate reason as to why he would sign with the Leafs. They're about to lose Matthews back to Zona and Nylander to Calgary. They're much further away from being a decent team than people think.

Another comparable to Roussel is Leo Komorov whom Maple Leafs gave him 4 years 2.95 mil per. This is not a huge over payment if the numbers are correct.
