I'd put him right in that bottom tier of "just missed" he's not worse than any of those guys. And a handful of goalies named there haven't even started 55 games in a season yet.

I don't think Markstrom is a legit starter yet, but he's right there in that "1B backup/low end starter" tier


I would not mind keeping him around as Demko's(hopefully) eventual backup. Dipietro is a few years away.

Hockeybuzz is literally a site to express your opinion on your hockey team, and have someone else immediately counter it with (hopefully) fact based points. Healthy debates happen on here daily, and also, some unhealthy ones obviously as well. Either way booner, i guess its hard to take your replies as anything other than counter arguing when you always seem to counter everything everyone else posts lol.

Keep him in Utica, give him a few games when injuries happen.

All the goalies on that list have gone on good streaks ...marky is just standard 1 good 1 bad 1 meh ....he will steal you a game then cost you 3

I have never really had a desire to rush or push any prospects ahead of their development. Would love to see hughes in michigin. Juolevi in utica. Send gaudette there if need be. Definitely no need to rush any of them imo

You know, there was a time when I could easily rattle a half dozen cages effortlessly days before July 1st, draft day and TDL. Am I losing my touch? I just get Codes and his body language is telling me he's really not into it.
