I don't hate it. I think we're selling low on Nylander, but it is what it is. Still not sure why we wouldn't target a winger instead of a defender as the roster player. I wouldn't be ecstatic, but don't think we're losing that if Thomas is indeed included.

Dunno if this was already posted or not, Luukkonen was taken 3rd overall in the import draft. This is pretty big for him and should give him some more time in net seeing as he wouldn't be the starter in the Finnish Elite League. Matej Pekar was taken 108th overall by Barrie.

Well i'm going to catch hell for this from some but here goes, My uncle and his friend with the Sabres are at Harbor Center watching the rookie camp ( good pics by the way he sent me) and he called to talk with me and I asked more about ROR. He said the Blues are still talking with the Sabres like they have been for over a month now, as are the Habs and Canes just not as long as the Blues.

He told me that according to his friend it's getting to the point they are going to have to move ROR whether they want to or not, it's getting past the point of talking things out and moving along.There's a lot involved with ROR and mangament. Some teammates also have some issues with him.

Sabres as of now will pay the 7.5 he's owed.

Have mercy on me folks, just passing it along.

I don't think anything less than a first should be a part of the equation...when you throw in nylander, a 19 yr. old with first-round pedigree, a second isn't enough
