Nice piece, Pach
I have NEVER seen a dobber line combination look like this:

Holy hell, he played with everyone on the Pens last year.
A little stability should help him greatly. Good luck to him, and great move GMJB |

Craig Custance is saying Hutton was here yesterday, maybe that realtor from EK's comment section was truthful about showing him houses?

Seems like Hutton is who they like. Not sure I like the idea of a 3 year deal for him, but the pickin's are slim. |

Rivet and Peters just interviewed him. I don't think anyone asked at his press conference either |

Sheary is a good pick up. I think he still has potential to play well. He was a pain in the ass against us quite a few times, so I hope that he can gel with one of the three centers.
Hunwick is (or should be) Rochester bound. Burying his contract there will be just fine. He can be a first call up if we get hit with many defensive injuries (please not this year), and then if someone claims him off waivers on the return to Roch, so be it.
Really hoping the Hutton rumors are true. I think he has another level to get to as far as his goaltending, and our improving defense; Dahlin, another year for Guhle, a (please please please) healthy year for Bogo, Risto improving with less playing time (23-24 min would be better), the Scandella we hoped for when we traded for him, etc. should give him a better chance in net. Plus we can always split time evenly between him and Linus to help both goalies.
I am still optimistic, the fatal flaw of Sabres fans, that we can make some progress to even make the first round of the playoffs !?!?!?!?!?
It is only Summer afterall...everything still looks good. Go Sabres

Always subject to change between now and Sunday, but at this hour on the goalie carousel, it would appear Carter Hutton is the leading option in Buffalo, Jonathan Bernier likely headed to Detroit and as we said before, Cam Ward likely to Chicago... |

4m is high...but they have nothing to work with outside of Ullmark for the next few years...
am of the opinion that he knows his role in buffalo and that it will probably be 1a/1b at best unless Ullmark craps the bed |

Ho-Sang, Wotherspoon, and Soderstrom have all been held out of Isles Prospect camp due to “soreness”.
Lol Buffalo must have three trades lined up |

Paying 5M for two goalies is not that bad in the grand scheme of things in terms of allocating Cap space. If Hutton gets 4x3 and Ullmark is making less than 1M as of right now. Most teams are spending at least 6M. |

Andy Stickland is saying Oilers have deal in place for Lucic. Very interested in how that plays out. They have to give up a bit to make that happen, IMO. |

Looks like we got the first guy they wanted. We have a new starter, and even if it’s 4 per i’m Fine with it at only 3 years.
