You won't see a decision on trading Karlsson until there is a decision on the sale of the team. If new owners are coming in, as I believe, they will call the shots on a Karlsson trade.

I am guessing the paper on the Sens debt is selling for less than 100 cents on the dollar and the sellers are relieved to dump these holdings.
