I'm saying a majority of the fan base is tired of losing this much. I dont know how you arn't
Whether you can see that or not is not my problem.
Never did i say this needs to be rushed, but i have to remember i am talking to you and you have a hard time understanding things.
Fans who are shelling out good money don't want to go watch a 25 win team. if this team does not improve next year many are going to walk away. It has been 7 years of this.
People are already questioning the Pegulas, if they finish bottom 3 again, it means zero progress has been made in 6 years.
Also F)(*^ you with your "Real fan bullpoop". - ImThatGuy
What do you want him to do then ? The only way to get better is trade for the future and build
So he should Make the fans happy by winning games with players that are aging and by year 3 they are declining and we are stuck with their contract
There is nothing he can do he has to trade for the future he can’t trade for now it’s pointless imo |

I speak the truth
Who was the one in the summer that said this team would be in the bottom once again (2017)
Who said we be in top 5 at the end of year in (2016)
This team is not close to contending we need to add more players and build up the new core stop these quick fix bs it Will only have us back here in two years with the same problems - gerbe75pts
The core is almost set. I'm looking for huge seasons from Eichel and Dahlin. I see a huge improvement in the standings coming this year

A "lottery team" is any team that doesn't make the playoffs, so yes, 80% chance we're a lottery team next year. And that's okay; what we want to see is an improvement of around 80-85 points. Asking this team to make the playoffs is a lot. I know Colorado did it, but, we're still a few players away |

Colorado and Jersey.
We have Eichel, Dahlin, Mitts, Reinhart and Risto. It's their team now.
Support from ROR and Okposo. Hopefully a healthy D and better goaltending. If things break right, 85 points should be totally within reach |

I'm actually unsure if you understand that veterans are required for the success of a team. |

The core is not even close to complete we need about 4 players and probably a top 5 pick draft choice next year |

No I understand but you don't need to spend 6m for 6y on one
You can sign Brooks Orpik for 2m and he can help players understand what it takes
You can get Ian Cole or hell sign Chris Kunitz for the fourth line for 2m

How many players do you think are in a core?
And no, we will not be picking top 5. |

No one said anything about contacts. I am talking about players that fit.
Who knows what the contracts will look. If they make sense do it.
Why would you assume we would sign players to bad contracts? Does GMJB have a history of doing that? - bjm1717
So you expect James Neal to take vet min. and be off the team before Mitts, Dahlin need to sign? |

Thats probably his reasoning for not buying out Zach bogosian he does not want any money tied up when those players become rfa
He wants to get rid of all the bad contracts first but people want him to add more smh |

Pegula's massive team altering involvement with the Benjamin trade:
But sometimes, like in the Benjamin trade, things happen and decisions have to be made quickly. In that situation, Beane says he called Terry Pegula while the paperwork was being processed. “I said, ‘Terry, just a heads-up, we’re trading for Kelvin Benjamin.” He then explained to Pegula the history of Benjamin and said he’d call him back once everything was done. |

The ultimate goal of any trade is to make his team better, whether that’s in the short-term, long-term, or ideally both, but Beane says there’s more to it. He’s dealing with colleagues and other professionals who want the same thing as him. So, at the end of the process, he’s hoping for a “win-win” situation, where both parties feel like they got something of value that will help them achieve their goals.
