Having a bunch of young kids on the team in the next few years it might not be a bad idea to sign a guy like Reaves. If the plan is still a multi year rebuild Zucc Zib Spooner Nam should all be gone by training camp.

I agree that there is no need at this point after the draft to trade either Zibby, or especially, Hayes. The only way that makes sense now is if one is packaged in part for only a higher significant player at wing or defense in return.

Yeah, pretty much zero reason to unload either of those right now. It's not like they're old. They would fit just fine into the rebuild, at least for now.

If there’s a team to look at it’s montreal for one of them (Zib or Hayes). Theyre always under pressure to win and succeed so you can take advantage of them, ala Gomez-Mac, and other teams do. But they need to have a winger prospect, not drafted this year obviously, and im not sure what they have in that regard. They do need a center however

If the plan is a couple more years of a rebuild I could see moving Zib. If we could flip Zib for a potential top line winger I think you do it with Chytil Hayes Andersson Howden down the middle. The wings are a little bare but id like to see what Vesey could do in a top 6 role. Zucc/Spooner/Nam should be shopped for prospects/picks.
