I don't know of any Canadian connection but according to the wiki, Polaris bought the company in 2011 and moved the HQ to Minnesota. I also learned that Polaris makes Victory motorcycles.

I'd recommend staying on the crack. I've seen nothing but bad things at work when fentanyl was involved.

It says we have ~$25 mil in CAP space, which is true, but we still have the ability to use Horton's LTIR of $5.3 mil for extra space. We really have close to $30 mil this summer and ~$45.3 mil in CAP space for next year with Horton's $5.3 LTIR.

The Leafs are not in that bad of a position as some might think. Lots of young prospects with low salaries that will be able to fill holes for the team while spending their money on keeping the stars in place long term.

Dougie Hamilton has been traded twice. Karlsson is on the block. It doesn't happen every day, but opportunities do present themselves and the more you have to give up, the more you get in return.

Sandin and Durzi show better on the "projected nhl success rates" that is used than Velano and Berggren.

Nothing is a sure thing..but hopefully the Leafs are on to something and can produce NHL players at a higher rate than we are used to (esp top 4 D)

Exactly. All this talk of cap space issues is crap.

All things being equal I think we have a better chance to sign JT then we did Stamkos and people that bring up the tax thing do not realize the endorsement opportunities in Toronto for a guy who is from there and top 10 in the league. This guy is a perfect leader, he leads by example and lets his work do the talking any team will be lucky to have this guy if I would guess where he is leaning I would say 50/50 Islanders and Leafs
