There are up to 9 teams that will have a chance to talk with John Tavares and his camp. In addition to the NYI, Boston, Dallas, SJ,Toronto,Tampa will meet with JT in Los Angeles. Up to 3 more will have phone interviews. Meetings will take place today, tomorrow and Wednesday.

BUt I'm a big fan of Tkachuck in Calgary, so I'll remain optimistic that Brady will work out with the Sens. A few analysts had him ranked in the top five, so who knows what'll happen.

I'm sure there are several tax specialists happy to help JT with optimizing his tax payment schemes..
There's so many things that could be done to decrease tax burden - merely looking at tax rates / states is a bit stupid - you have to take into account several tax options.

Agree on the NYI..impressive haul.

I posted some stats in the "who is in a better situation leafs or sens" thread.
Sandin and Durzi show better on the "projected nhl success rates" that is used than Velano and Berggren.

Nothing is a sure thing..but hopefully the Leafs are on to something and can produce NHL players at a higher rate than we are used to (esp top 4 D)
