Isn't that the Ristolainen logic that you don't believe though?

Weber can be a great mentor for him

Sounds like a clown question bro, but Harrington can smell blood in the water. Botts starting to get rattled. Hopefully he has an unlimited supply of brown paper bags in his office.

GMTM and Beane would've been the best GM tandem in Buffalo sports history. Now we got Beane and a doofus. You know what they say about the 3ER. He's not always right, but aint ever been wrong.

I like this take. I think it's (frank)ing ridiculous, but I like it.

Burrows just bought out. With his speed, maybe he could fill a spot on the wing until we get some of these kids ready. Probably would be a cheap option.

Dude is 37 and 5 of his last 6 seasons have been single digit goal totals.

No thanks. I think I would rather a "kid" get the time and chance to improve.

The Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres had been linked in conversations about O’Reilly, with Sabres GM Jason Botterill asking Montreal for the third overall pick in return. And though that was a deal-breaker for Bergevin, trading Pacioretty for another first-round pick he could package back to the Sabres — along with a couple of other picks the Canadiens held in the draft — was apparently something we’re told he came close to doing.

From Sportsnet

So it was actually Habs looking to deal Patches to another team to get a 1st to package back to give to BUF for ROR. Still... trading ROR for nothing but picks isn't nearly as appetizing for me. I want a top 6 ready kid or top prospect.

Man, you really have a hard on over Nelson. Its not his fault you couldn't cut it.

Von dudenstein, you can tell a lot about a man by who he speaks highly of.

What's Murray up to?
